These porcelain earrings were custom carved, and glazed with a crystalline glaze that fired at a specific temperature range to grow uniquely patterned crystals. No piece will have the same crystalline pattern.

A statement earring that is surprisingly light in weight. The custom designed prong-setting frames these porcelain daggers in 14/20k gold-filled hardware. Of note: the custom designed prong-setting frames, are inspired by the Torii gate: signaling the transition from the normal everyday world, to the sacred... in this case, I have designated the wearer as the sacred element in how I have designed them. The porcelain sculptures are then custom set using the Torii designed concept, with 14/20k gold-filled hardware and solid gold ear wires of 14k gold or 18k gold.

These gold earrings bring a modern elevation to a lengthy crystalline chemistry history.

Porcelain sculpture measures 1 3/4 inch in length, with additional length for the french ear wires.
