Jewelry making intro class! One workshop ticket per attendee.
This is a two-day, weekend workshop!
In this intro intensive workshop we will spend the first day talking about and creating our own custom cabochons from porcelain or stoneware and then creating them! Day two, we will set our freshly made stones for a very unique piece that pretty much --no one-- you know will have because you made the entire thing yourself!
Through various techniques. You will be guided on how to cut your own metals pieces to then form a custom fit setting. It is an introductory workshop, so come with grace and excitement for the new!
Materials will be provided in brass. All are welcome to upgrade if they want to practice using fine .999 silver and sterling silver. Any desire for 14k goldfilled metal will also be open as an option. Our two private studios will be introduced to participants. Your ceramics and metal questions will be answered!
Length of workshop is 3 hours on both days. Come spend time in the South End and plan to stroll around the cafes, restaurants, and our locally owned shops afterwards.
Takeaway: your own hand-crafted jewelry piece. A fun new experience. New connections. Knowledge that may haunt you forever.
This workshop is located at our ceramics studio, and our metalsmithing studio. More details will be sent out to attendees with the address information. Check those friendly Spam/Promotion folders. We will potentially walk 8 minutes between the two studios.
