Join us for this jewelry making workshop in Boston! This is a jewelry making intro class. One workshop ticket per attendee. Learn how to create your own silver or gold hoop earrings.
In this intro workshop we will learn to create a simple, classic pair of dangly earrings with a bit of uniqueness to reflect your design touch. Your jewelry instructor will help assist you in completing a professionally finished, new pair of hoop styled dangle earrings.
You will be guided on how to cut your own metals, be supported in how to shape or texture your pieces, and be able to walk away from this workshop session with one pair of earrings to wear or to generously gift to a loved one!
This is an introductory workshop, so come with grace and excitement for the new! Leave perfection and ego for another day, and strengthen that inner voice that wants to cheer you on and knows your potential to grow and learn.
Materials will be provided. Our private metalsmithing studio is within a 12 minute walk from the redline T at Broadway (we are located in the South End of the SoWa Arts & Design District). No experience is necessary, and your metal wearing questions will be answered! We will be working with sterling silver and brass (optional for color), and upgrades to 14k goldfilled hardware can be requested. Certain semi-precious gem stones can be added as an upgrade as well, but they are not necessary. You are welcome to bring your own tiny tiny little stone beads!
Length of workshop is roughly three hours. Come spend time in the South End and plan to stroll around the cafes, restaurants, and our locally owned shops afterwards.
Takeaway: your own hand-crafted jewelry piece. A fun new experience. New connections. Knowledge that may haunt you forever.
More details will be sent out to attendees with the address information. Check those friendly Spam/Promotion folders.
