Jewelry making intro class! One workshop ticket per attendee.
In this intro intensive workshop we will talk about how to incorporate found nature materials, hand-drawn work, and hammer formed textures into your jewelry pieces through various techniques. You will be guided on how to cut your own metals pieces to then form a bracelet with your own designs. Finally, we will cover how to properly finish and care for different metals.
Come with: found leaves, vial of sand, ideas! At the end of this workshop, you will be able to take home a piece ready to wear or gift.
Materials are included. Tools will be provided. Our private studio equipment will be introduced. Your metals and texture questions will be answered! We will be working with sterling silver and brass (optional for color).
Length of workshop is 3-4 hours. Come spend time in the South End and plan to stroll around the cafes, restaurants, and our locally owned shops afterwards.
Takeaway: your own hand-crafted jewelry piece. A fun new experience. New connections. Knowledge that may haunt you forever.
