Glaze Testing
Working on quite a few glaze tests from now through summer! This is a phase separating glaze, which essentially is showing two glass colors. They separate out because the chemistry allows for a lot of this to happen.

...of design work! Unloaded the kiln today and had some lovely surprises. The chemistry of these has been balanced and I’m pretty excited with how their levels came out. Lovely for wares, but right now still focused on jewelry ❤️
Thursday, I finished setting these sweet teal studs. Love a shiny prong setting and a rainy day!
They. Are. Liiiiive!! Just shared (and sold) the new teal / azurite glazed porcelain dangle earrings! I’m so in love with this new custom researched colorway. I love that they’re coming out perfectly, the chemistry was perfected and fired beautifully, and they are just ready for me to set in 14k gold-filled.
When I finished setting these teal porcelain rings last night. To tell you I was happy would be a slight understatement. I also didn’t mean to set one horizontally and I am so surprised by how much I love it.
The faint colored ring is a morganite stone set in 14k gold with a diamond. So much shiny, tones of grey and it has been my joy for the past two weeks.
