Wine this weekend and other colorful choices
The year is already off to a busy start and the Chloe dog is hot on the trail of new smells and lots of naps. She has already slept her way from Boston to NYC, whined all over West Village and slept all the way through my NY NOW show at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
New products are going to be officially launching now that they were shared in NYC. It was tough to wait and y'all know how I like to tease an image on Instagram for your instant input. But sweet new treats are trickling out on the site and all over town.
These pretty Dipped Buoy Charm Necklaces in such colors!
I had a really fun and lovely customer that frequented Magpie Industries in Davis Square ask me if I could turn my Dipped Earrings into a necklace, and you know what? Yes. Yes I could. Yes I did. Yes I am!... doing that now. Sometimes, and frequently, these things are staring me in the face and it just takes somebody walking by to say, "Hey, you missed a button." As they casually keep on walking by -- and in my imagination, are enjoying an ice cream cone.
It's one of the things I love about my customers that shop from their neighborhood and support my favorite retailers that partner with me. They so smaht!
Gorgeously elegant, subtly vintage looking cushion earrings with a prong set look.
To celebrate spring as it slowly but surely approaches, I finally am introducing a new line of colors that I had locked up in my head for some time. It's a blush peach color and it's here to stay. It has a richness of color that saturates a bit more than the ever popular rose pink color, but it just makes me want to put it on every single person I see. It's got a soft fanciness... which is totally a style. [Hair toss.]
If you are looking for some local shows to peep these, then you're in luck! This weekend I too am lucky to be showing at the Somerville Armory at 191 Highland Ave from 11am-4pm for their Valentine's Day Market!
Should you have ever had the chance to visit one of my pop-ups... you will know that I always pull a Frank Gehry and show things that are just for fun or not yet full blown in-production with my two hands I call, "factory." I'm not going to give away what they might be by saying anything but here are some pictures:

These weekend earrings you pair with a red wine of your choice...
Lastly, I will say I was having a cherish my mother kind of night a couple of weeks ago, though really, it's every day [cheese]! Many of you know I'm half Taiwanese, so I have a lot of asian design influence that just comes from being alive and exposed to great food and travel from a young age. I feel very lucky to have had such a diverse upbringing and that is thanks to my mother and of course my dad. It might not have been so popular in the past, but look at all the happy hapa children now! So, as a nod to all the things that I love in the world, and what it represents culturally, as well as for the wedding vibes they give off -- I sculpted up and carved out a tiny little peony flower. I posted a story on Instagram so if you saw it, you're in the know.
And if you feel like you haven't had enough of my updates yet. Checkout this really long interview I gave to The Female Gaze that came out yesterday. Somerville was also showing some love over on BostonVoyager so be sure to see what floats their boat this week for Portrait of Somerville. It was pretty cool to see I got to be in the line-up with Hive Studio. I have goodies to share from them, too! But it deserve-th it's own post.
More updates to come and I can't wait to make a visit to Baltimore / DC area in less than two weeks for American Craft Council! Until then...
