Long Awaited! New Small Heritage Stud Earrings
I have been wanting to do some sort of unique tiny stud earrings for some time now. It was starting about eight or nine months ago now that I began trying to finally create them.
Handmade stud earrings might seem like they don't take too long to create, but in my experience, those quickly made earrings aren't the kind that really last as long if not given the right amount of R&D love that I tend to obsessively give without apology. I mean this in that... I might know a good handful of folks are waiting for a particular style of earrings I have been playing around with, but I just can't sell anything I make if I can't provide fully vetted support around them and their longevity! It's a fault, but hopefully, one of those good kind of faults [wink wink, sly-side-look-movie-face.] I'd like for you to just picture me as the Ryan Gosling of jewelry makers: Hey girl, I just want to please you. So you're just going to have to wait until I think this hand-crafted porcelain is worthy of you, goddess.
Too much?
Never! You should demand only the best in your life and live it minimally and with a footprint that is practically zero. Might I recommend fired-clay made by one quirky individual?
So as I was saying, near the end of January, at the dawn of another NY NOW season at the Javits Center was when all this hard work and researching the sizing and % shrinkage of the porcelain pieces things finally started working out. I was beyond ecstatic to launch them for this recent trade show season.
It shouldn't be at all a surprise that stud earrings for sensitive ears are my mainstay standard. I practically live for chatting about metal skin allergies with anyone who will listen. It's pretty much how I make all of my best friends now!
I couldn't be more proud of having some new tiny, small, everyday stud earrings made with materials I love that are absolutely nickel free and should only bring the happy kind of smiles we all like to have every now and then. (Be honest, if you had a smile plastered on your face 24/7, you'd probably be freaking out a lot of your friends.)
I like to share that these little porcelain earrings will last until the end of ... time. Like, future humans will find these studs buried in your lavish tomb right next to your over-the-top gold dress that Brittany told you not to get because it looked like you were over-compensating for lord knows what MacBethany... and these future folks will know that these were worn as your sweet lil' earrings. They'll even be able to try them on for themselves if the sun isn't already a white dwarf and has vaporized the earth. But clearly, I digress...
So whether you are a person like me who wears black stud earrings all the days unless it's a fancy day! Or, perhaps you are one of the lovely lasses I run into at shows that gets a small stud earring for a second hole piercing? These wee treats will not steer you in the wrong direction. I only like to put out the things that make me proud, so without being too redundant--I'm really proud of these sweet little porcelain earrings!
I hope you love them too.
